CILT (UK) Professional training and certification for The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is  kicking off this July, 2024. Please be informed that CILT Professional Examinations are in two diets, June and November.

The training takes 5 months on Saturdays using virtual mediums. Registration for the November diet for the year 2024 is ongoing.
This professional course leads to the award of any of the appropriate International certificates below:

 

  1. INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (ICLT)
  2. INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (IDLT)
  3. INTERNATIONALADVANCED DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (IADLT)

You would be guided on the training course to take and process for CILT membership upgrade after filling and submitting your admission form.

The certificate on completion of the course will be awarded by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International, United Kingdom.

Note that this Centre, SMARTPRO Logistic Consult is an Accredited Training Provider (ATP) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to train students for its examination.

 

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT(ICLT):

At this level, candidates are taught the foundations of Logistics and Transport, and this entails a study of Business Application, Warehousing and Inventory. It is designed for supervisors working in the field of Logistics and Transport. Those who are successful can work as hands on supervisors in the logistics, supply chain and transport organization.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (ICLT):

Holders of National Diploma (ND) in any discipline, SSCE/GCE/NECO with two years relevant work experience are eligible to apply. Mature candidates with lesser qualifications but with not less than five (5) years relevant work experience can also apply.

INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (IDLT):

At this level students are taught management in logistics and transport supplychain management; sourcing and procurement, Transport planning Techniques, Inventory and warehousing. It is
a higher level qualification aimed at those already in the industry/sector at a middle management level

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (IDLT):

Holders of International Certificate in Logistics and Transport; National Diploma in Transportation; Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in other fields; National Diploma in Logistics and Transport or closely related field with five(5) years relevant work experience may apply.

INTERNATIONAL ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (IADLT)

This is an advanced course aimed at developing strategic decision making skills in logistics and transport.
It imparts on students strategic management skill across the length and breadth of logistics, transport and supplychain. Students are drilled on strategic management; strategic network planning; delivering strategic performance and research methods

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (IADLT):

Holders of International Diploma in Logistics and Transport or HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Transport including supply chain; Holders of Master Degree in other fields with not less than five (5) years’ relevant work experience may apply.
